Following the prequel - Castle Crossing
Sterling is interested mainly in action figures and video games, but Sai is the exception. When the family moves to Ireland, Sterling comes face-to-face with action figures. He becomes less shy and evolves into a real-world champion.
After Sai's parents are abducted, Sterling's mom and dad become his legal guardians. They take him on their venture to Ireland to live in a castle. Circumstances lead him to focus less on the uncertain future.
Before Hanuman embarks on the epic Ramayana, he meets Sai. As their friendship develops, so does Hanuman, who goes from a mischievous monkey to a reliable adult, making him notable in the subsequent voyage.

Sai finds himself sliding down a multi-colored tube, with lights and colors swirling past him as if crossing the entire universe in the blink of an eye. He lands on a grassy plain with a giant forest out ahead. A roiling river is beside him, and a mountain chain is in the distance. The whole place has a surreal, mythical vibe.
Darknel and his Bobble Headsmen follow the monkey to retrieve the Rubicube. The monkey is Hanuman, one of several characters from Hindu mythology that Sai encounters. Along the way, he learns their stories, is sometimes part of them, and becomes Yoga.
Kaliya, a fearsome multi-headed snake, jets out of the tall grass near the river, biting down on the Rubicube. Then Garuda, a massive bird with the golden body of a man, screeches from on high! Yoga and Hanuman are startled as the two giant creatures fight. Kaliya escapes into the water as Garuda lands on shore. Garuda drops what remains of the Rubicube onto the ground in pieces.
Garuda takes Yoga to a small village where he meets Charna, the daughter of prominent individuals in mythology, and they help find the missing parts to rebuild the Rubicube. Yoga and Charna defeat Darknel in an epic battle to hang on to the Rubicube.
Yoga brings Charna to Miniature City. They enter the town square without seeing anyone. After looking down a few side streets and no sign of Sterling, Yoga says, "Okay, let's get out of here."
Just then, Sterling comes racing around a corner, appearing scared. He yells, "There you are! You have the Cube!? Let's go! Hurrrrrrry!!!" Yoga notices a swarm of Monocronies chasing Sterling. He quickly twists the Rubicube, and a beam of light zaps all three kids into the dungeon, their regular size.
Sterling leans over, hands on knees, to catch his breath. "My dad! I found my dad – Darknel is holding him captive – we gotta round up more action figures and go back to save him!"
To be continued… in Sterling to the Rescue
